Wedding Ceremony Officiants

You are welcome to bring in an officiant of your choice or you may hire one of our officiants to perform your ceremony (at an additional cost from the chapel). If you hire one of our officiants we will provide you with a few ceremony choices for you to choose from, or you may bring us a ceremony if you have one that you like. We will work with you to personalize it so that the words are unique to the two of you. We do not offer counseling as part of our services nor do we require it. That is a personal choice for the two of you. As a reminder, you must apply for and bring in your marriage license on the day of the ceremony. You apply for it at your local county clerk’s office.

Mary has been an officiant since 2013 and has performed numerous wedding ceremonies in our chapel and at other locations. She is also in charge of scheduling ceremonies, hosting, and a vast assortment of other day-to-day activities. She is a wealth of knowledge regarding all things wedding-related, including other vendors you may need.

Mary was awarded Officiant of the Year by the Lansing Bridal Association.

Ryan has been an integral part of the chapel since we opened in 2006 and is involved in running rehearsals, wedding day coordination, and hosting. He has just recently become ordained in 2016. He has performed ceremonies both here and at other locations.
