Bridge Street Wedding Chapel
Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding!
Now, the fun begins! The search for the perfect place to say your vows and start your married lives together. It’s easier said than done, but if you are reading this then you are definitely on the right path.
Whether you want a secular ceremony – with no religious ties, or a ceremony that includes the presence of God – as your personal beliefs dictate, not a church or denomination – you’ve found the right place. It’s your wedding day, your way, with us to guide you along the way.
You will feel the comfort and warmth when you step inside the chapel doors and look up at the light streaming down from the stained glass that has shown for generations since 1903.
Even if you belong to a church, many restrictions may prevent you from having the ceremony of your dreams there. That’s why we may be the perfect ceremony venue for couples like you. The loving warmth of a building that has hosted countless families – multiple generations – is now available to create your wedding day memories without a church’s restrictions.
We have dedicated the past 20 years to creating storybook weddings with over 400 couples who have trusted us to guide them through planning, preparing, and performing the wedding of their dreams.
Let’s chat and see if we are the right fit for your big day.
Fill out the contact form, and we will schedule a time for you to take a tour. We look forward to meeting you.
PS – We are pet and kiddo-friendly, so please consider having them be part of your ceremony if that’s your style.

Some History
Our building was constructed in 1903 as the First Congregational Church and is considered a historic site in Grand Ledge. The pews in our chapel were hand-crafted in 1891 and add to the timeless feel of the chapel. In early 2006, after purchasing the building, the Holmes family began an enormous restoration project, renovating the building to be better than new – keeping the best of the old and historic (original stain glass, woodwork, and organ pipes) while upgrading the comfort features such as new electrical, plumbing and bathrooms, new flooring, and central air and heat.
